CE Marking 

Many products must be CE marked in order to be sold in the EU. This mark indicates that a product has been tested by the manufacturer and is considered to meet European standards for safety and health and the environment. It is mandatory for products manufactured anywhere in the world and then marketed in the EU.

When is CE marking mandatory?

The CE marking is mandatory only for products for which EU standards apply and the CE marking is required.

Some products are subject to different EU requirements at the same time. Before placing a CE mark on your products, you must ensure that they meet all the relevant requirements. It is forbidden to place a CE mark on products for which EU standards do not apply or the affixing of the mark is not required.
